if, in this moment,
everything just ended abruptly.
You'd be pissed.
They'd all cry.
And the world would keep on turning.
The flowers would bloom, then wilt with the leaves
and winter would come on in again.
But then, as I'm thinking,
my heart remembers
that with each passing season
you'd lose a little of yourself
and a few more tears.
I just can't do that.
And so I don't.
